A state of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion when caregivers don't get the help they need or take on more than they can.

Trauma

It is an emotional response to a distressing or disturbing experience that everyone processes trauma differently.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

It is a structured , time-limited, problem-focused and goal oriented form of psychotherapy. It helps individuals to develop skills and strategies for becoming and staying healthy.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Works to identify and change negative thinking patterns and push for positive behavioural changes by utilizing acceptance and change concepts.

Mindfulness-Based Practice

At its core, it is a natural human state in which an individual experiences and attends to the present moment in an open, accepting and non-judgemental way.

Trauma-Informed Interventions

Acknowledges the pervasive nature of trauma in response create healing and recovery environments rather than practices and services that may inadvertently re-traumatize.
